Dear Parents,

I am very excited to teach 4th and 5th grade chorus for Del Rey Elementary this year. I am really looking forward to working with the incredible talent we have here at Del Rey Elementary.

This year’s choir will provide opportunities for students to grow musically, while strengthen their voices and gaining self-confidence. Students will develop skills in sight-singing, music theory, part singing, as well as audition and performance skills. Choir is a great way to have fun, make friends and explore the art of performing. All 4th and 5th graders are welcome to participate. No audition is required.

Choir will be during lunch from 12:45-1:10 every Wednesday, beginning on September 17th. Students will rehearse and prepare for a variety of performances including the Orinda Tree Lighting, Del Rey Winter Sing, and Band/Chorus Concert. Other opportunities may present itself through out the year as well. I will email dates and times of performances when I have more information.
